Prime Flooring Services is a family-owned, owner-operated hardwood flooring company based in Stamford, CT. Established in 2024, our company brings hands-on flooring experience dating back to 2019.
​We help homeowners restore, protect, and improve hardwood floors through professional refinishing, recoating, repairs, and careful floor maintenance. Prime Flooring Services was built from real hands-on work inside real homes. Since 2019, we have worked directly with hardwood floors, solving problems like worn finishes, scratches, stains, uneven color, damaged boards, and floors that homeowners thought might need replacement.

Over time, we learned that good floor work is not just about sanding wood. It is about preparation, dust control, repairs, stain selection, finish durability, and respecting the home while the work is being done. With a background in Civil Engineering, we approach flooring with attention to detail. We look at how the floor is built, how the wood reacts, how finishes perform over time, and what solution makes the most sense for the condition of the floor.

Why I Started Prime Flooring Services
I got into this trade because I genuinely enjoy the work. There's something satisfying about taking a floor that looks worn out and bringing it back to life, seeing the grain come through, and watching a homeowner's reaction when they see the final result for the first time.

But I also started this company because I saw how the work was often done, rushed jobs, inconsistent quality, and no real accountability. Homeowners were left with questions, and no one taking responsibility.

I wanted to do it differently.

That meant staying hands-on. Not taking on more projects than we can do properly. Being the one who shows up, does the work, and stands behind the result.
